Design Notes November 18th, Anti-botting testing has begun.

Anyone have the scope on what the new measures are? And how do we avoid them?

Maybe they might add something where if you accept a quest outside of the map you'll get banned or something. Maybe they'll crack down on packets or something also. Overall this is like their billionth time saying this so I doubt it's actually going to effect botters. Like usual stick to private rooms and disable goto/pm and you'll be alright. This is more or less AE's way of scaring botters.

The last anti botting patch was if you were spawning under the 10 seconds they set, tons of players got banned :-D then unbanned...

cheating is not allowed ingame so they do what is right, now others will make bots undetectable i think..

Also, it is not like people aren't buying ac or membership. Botting is just another addition to the game; ain't no body got time to grind 24/7 for 1 item.

To get classes and rare items it someone even takes days botting. I remember actually getting doomwood rank 10 legit... god it took a literal week.
