Piracy is bad, but most of the shit isn't even worth the price... And if I was to buy something, I don't want the money going to some administrative fee...

This is kind of the mentality you should have.

Some people price things just because they are in the same genre as another publisher.

I don't think DmC: Devil May Cry could ever be worth $60, more like $30 at best, but because it's a "new game" and all other "new games" get that pricing, they made it that way.

You know, plus not having to actually do anything physically. After the item is purchased it installs from the internet, no disc, no packaging, no handling. It's at your finger tip, no gas to go to the store! Yep.

I don't mind pirating from a big company that shows time and time again they don't care about their customers. I also think a little 13-14 year old kid that has no means to buy games, it's ok. I don't support piracy of small indie companies.

I try not to Pirate when I can.

For example, when the Metal Gear port came out for PC, I really love Platinum as a company, so I went ahead and bought it full price on Steam even though there was a reloaded copy floating around hours after official release.

Im not against it at all, Piracy isn't a bad thing if you know how to manage it

Games: Most people I know, had no plans of buying the game anyway, but found out they liked it and invested in the sequel or bought the game during a steam sale
Movies: Movies can be overpriced and netflix doesn't update, So pirating the movie online isn't a bad thing since the quility is usally poor and most people pick it up in redbox down the road or even buy it
Music: Music is a hard topic , alot of starting bands have no money at all and live lives almost as bad as the homeless, but music is really for entertainment, people should donate to keep the band going, or go to concerts, the songs should be for the general public + Sharing music with friends in the car helps spread the name

Bottom line is for indie bands or developers pirating is really sucks for them, so at least try to pay for it if you can

I believe those people that are in favor of "free sharing" are complete idiots that don't understand anything about economy at all. A product is a product, it doesn't matter whether it's physical or not, only the developer should have the right to distribute or sell. All your PayPal money is just a bunch of zeroes and ones, same as your video games and movies. If your in favor of piracy, then you're in favor of someone turning all the ones of your PayPal account to zeroes. Period.

If they like make a website, where We can pay how much we want to watch unlimited videos per a month or something.. Then piracy should stop..
