What is your screen resolution?
From a quick glance, that 4GB seems overkill - I'd choose the 640
I use a stock HP P7-1414 and am looking to buy a new graphics card. I found two cards that seem OK. One has high RAM while the other has more cuda cores.
(names are as shown on newegg)
RAM: SPARKLE 700005 GeForce GT 630 4GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Cuda Cores: MSI N640-1GD5/LP GeForce GT 640 1GB 64-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Will these cards work with my PC? If the both work which one will work better for gaming?

I dont know what you computer is like...but for 170$ there is no better deal then this
Amazon.com: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHZ OC 2 GB 256 -bit GDDR5 DL-DVI-I/SL-DVI-D/HDMI/DP PCI-Express Graphics Card 100354OC-2L: Computers & Accessories
This card kicks ass
Thank me if i helped you
think the 4GB one would work better for gaming though? Not too worried about overkill. And i currently use a 1600x900 resolution an an hp 2009m monitor. thinking about buying an ASUS VK248H-CSM monitor. The 4gb is also cheaper.

Cant use that card because of my 300 watt power supply.
I cant really afford to be spending over 170 dollars at the moment.
If it were just those 2 cards that I mentioned which would perform better in games at higher settings?
