How to turn it off

When I run any game, I get the pop-up message saying my color scheme has been changed to windows 7 basic.
From this point on I lag massively when I alt tab to do something else. I never ran into such problem, it all started last week. I was wondering if there's a way to turn it off ? ->-


I checked my cpu usage and it's never above 50% and my ram is never above 20-25%.

Because there could be issues due to aero theme... clicking on the poput you should be able to remove that, anyway that's the wrong section.
