Is there a way to change my IP for this laptop, as if i play from another place?

As far as I am aware using your laptop for your dirty work should not incriminate your desktop. This is because although they are on the same network they will have different MAC addresses. If you are still worried you can always use a VPN although coming across a free VPN that doesn't lag will not be easy.
