Reason being, that you want a logo that people can recognize. The first two have really weak logo memory, the third one you can easily recognize.

I'm mean't to be making a logo for a company called Davy Capital.
Could you give me some suggestions on how to improve from these.
C&C Would be GREATLY appriecitated.

Thats what you want, something too complex is hard to remember.
Think of it this way, if you have a semi going down the street with a logo on its side, a complex totally GFX'ed out one, its a lot harder to remember than the walmart one.[IMG]https://i334.photobucke*****m/albums/m414/sjwho2/griffith3.png[/IMG]

The third logo, is definitly the best, it is simple, yet artistic.
If people want to remember a logo, it must be easy for them to recognize.
Maybe add a little bit more effects, like outer glows, to just bring the DC out more.
(And make it transparent
).

Third one is best imo, has a little more creativity then the second and the first is sorta confusing due to the backwards text and logo type thing lined up with the text, a little more creative use of the pen tool might might a little better, but not to much or the logo becomes too complicated, you want something simple, and you got it there, so good job, keep it up
