Thinking about getting Windows 7 but not sure? This is my first look experience with it.
After the massive failure of Vista Microsoft must be pleased that customer's have not rejected their new offering Windows 7 (yet ).
Windows 7 Theme: Looks Peaceful doesn't it?
Performance:
After using Beta Build 7068 and 7077, RC (7100) and RTM (7600) for a couple of months I'm pretty happy with the system. It's not just a simple GUI change. They have fixed most problems that they had with Vista not being compatible with programs.
Windows 7 is the fastest OS yet (faster than XP) Windows 7 provides an improved taskbar and full-screen previews. The Preview pane in Windows Explorer is great letting you read documents, listen to music, look at pictures all from windows Explorer. This is greatly enlarged to provide program icons and easier browsing. New GUI changes include a new show desktop bar button to Aeropeek or swap to desktop. There are also new things like Aerosnap that dragging the window to the side can make it half size for multitasking.
Example of Preview Pane: I love this feature It saves loads of time!
AeroSnap in action: Good for multitasking
AeroPeek: Quickly change or look at windows or show desktop Cool isn't it?
Alot of things have changed since the dangerous green fields of Vista. There are a lot less Program not responding alerts, Blue circles of death (loading), and no freezing up. Boot Times are improved a lot to 7 seconds and shutdown to about 10 seconds. With a bit of tweaking Windows 7 will be the best system yet!
Gaming:
Alas the part you have been waiting for Gaming Windows 7 is greatly improved for gaming and has been way faster than Vista with less useless services and programs running and fixes in the System. Every game has worked for me so far so there are no compatibility issues. I have been able to stretch my system without lagging on Crysis to High settings.
Hacking:
As Mouzie posted before: he said that Windows 7 would be a great hacking tool as it benefits from being able to have every compatibility mode. This means that you can basically run all hacks regardless of system.
If you were thinking about getting Windows 7 please do try it. If you are not that handy at computers I advise you wait until it is officially released.
That's about it for now. Phew I'm tired that took like 1 hour
Guys if you have any comments or questions please do about your experience If something is wrong or broken tell me Also if you want to recommend something or for me to review another feature.
Thank me if this helped you!

Most FPS lol, Some RTS I just got bored of it (Might get Empire: Total War), and 2 casual games from Popcap. Can't wait to get COD6 and AC2
I mostly play games 1 at a time. Sucked how Cod 4 was so short Hope COD6 is better

Yehp yehp. It's so pretty.
No it isn't it looks bad and doesn't even have start search. If you can run XP you can run 7. You only need 512MB Ram (1GB Recommended) and decent processor, 7 gigs hard drive space, and a 256MB graphics card
