Well I have different thoughts.

Version 1
OPTION 1: If I were fat, instead of pulling the lever I would jump in front of the train and save all 6 people whilst killing myself. The ultimate sacrifice.

People of authority are trained and rewarded financially to do what they do. A bystander is not. Your point is moot.

See I don't like these type of questions as a human being's mentality changes HEAVILY when in the situation. It also changes based on the people that are tied down.

Well I'll give it a try anyways.

1. I'm going to assume I can't just carry them off the tracks because that would be too easy, because in that case i could switch the tracks, then sprint to the one guy and carry him off. I have a 9 second 50 metre so yes I can make the distance.

1. Yes, and untie the single person. Though I'm guessing it's not a think outside the box question, just a question of morality.
