Look up the Great Depression, Keynes Theory, and FDR. The only way to free up the slowing velocity of money is to spend, and who is willing to spend the most? The government.

1. I know you didn't. Debt is the healthiest form for the Government.
2. GM is only partially government owned, they were publicly trading on the stock market till they filed chapter 11..
3. Have you even paid attention the economy? I think I am a far better judge of how the stimulus plan is doing. Job loss is decreasing, companies are returning to profit, the housing bust is returning to normal, and banks are trading. Fail? Get real. If you even had the slightest clue about the Great Depression or Economics, you wouldn't be pulling bullshit out of your ass.

Housing markets not going so good lulz. Jobs? really, i'd think you'd at least know that the job market isn't doing so well. The great depression is an example i used cus its a great example of how spending is good for the economy up to a point.
