Security updated - Should I be concerned?

Hello. Today I started my COD Ghosts and got that message everyone gets when they sync with MP servers, that big window.

It showed me the Infinity Ward emblem and a title that said Security Updated. It further detail it said third party softare may get me banned from both COD and even Steam.

Hacks have always been prohibetted but I've never seen that message before. What should I do? Is everything still safe? Or should I stop using my hack?

Im afraid he is right i got the same message this morning but im still using master's ESP cant be detected cause it is xternal XD

yeah I was online and nothing happened but I reset my stats after every gaming day.I play with name changer,xp lobby maker,masters esp+aim since yesterday with god mode too...mhmm tomorrow I'm going to test it...

I had the same infinity ward stuff showing up today!
The FOV I use warned me first hand and when I logged in the game it said exactly the same. Don't know if they'll do anything or not, but to prevent I stoped using that FOV changer even though it's freking awful to play with the 65 FOV...

Doesn't matter if it's external or not. It's a 3rd party program that VAC can detect.

VAC banning is enabled for this game, as Steam says. so when you are hacking, VAC scans your RAM for any hacks/processes/etc. that edit any files of the game, if it finds one, it has a ban delay of about a week so you can't tell which hacks got you banned. I would stop using my hacks if I were any of you, but it is the risk you take.

Attention! don't use fraps or other video recording software, like third-party software will trigger you in a ban 'cause is seen as wallhack by IW Anticheat. A friend of my friend was banned after record video of a cheater.
