Mouse Problems

I got a new mouse about a week ago and it was all okay until yesterday the mouse started jumping upwards and downwards when i tried scrolling in any game, web browsers and everything that i need to scroll on. Is there any way to fix this problem? If i keep having this problem its going to piss me off and probably force me towards console gaming since you dont have any problems with mouses and keyboards and there are way less problems.

So can anyone help me with this?

It's probably just something wrong with the mouse.. have you tried using another mouse and see if the issue occurs? If it's the mouse's problem you can send it back for an exchange/refund.
