    Birds and Bees

Birds of Paradise (plant). Didn't even notice the bee until I looked at the photo on my computer, lol. On another note, I accidentally shot at an incredibly high ISO (well the flower was in a heavily shaded area), but I think the over exposure brought the colors of plant out quite nicely.

    Nikon D3100 18-55 mm, ISO 1600 f/5.6 1/200 sec

That is a pretty high ISO, especially when you could be using a slower shutter speed instead. Pro tip: always use the lowest ISO you can manage for the shot.
If you had dropped to 1/60, I think your ISO could have been at least 800 as opposed to 1600.

It was not my intention to shoot at such a high ISO. I honestly had no idea that it was that high. I've only had the camera for a couple of days, and I just got out of auto. Luckily I know a thing or two about cameras or else I'd be completely helpless. And yes, I know. Higher ISO = more noise.

Photo has pleasant colors and its nice shot. You manage to shoot a bee too.
On the other hand, you were lucky, the bee could have shot you too. XD
