Basically what EDS is that her body is extra sensitive. Bruises are easier to attain and more severe. Cuts are much more severe. Makes skin stretchable. Also causes problems in joints similar to osteoarthritis. Her joints are going to be very weak. They also dislocate very easily.

You shouldn't be scared as long as she's careful of how she treats herself. It's not life threatening.
