Sell it to someone that can repair it and buy a good phone for that money

Check if it's under warranty if not Apple will charge you to get it replaced.
Unfortunately each time you restore from a backup it reverts all settings and data to those contained in the backup. You can't just restore the data and add it "incrementally" to to the data on the phone. The only option you would have is to purchase and use 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor to extract data from your other backup(s), and then, where possible, sync it back to your phone. You can't sync SMS messages back to your phone but you could extract things like photos then put them in a folder and sync them back to your phone by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.
Ditch this phone or get it fixed from the store
stick with iPhones don't even think to use another platform
