A new group?

Ok....

i got to thinking.....

I have never had a virus on my computer.
I have 3 years of norton (free)
If needed, i have recovery disks i can use.

Why isnt there a group to test hacks?

There are minions and mods yes i know. But here are two reasons right away that thats not good enough.

1. They arent ALWAYS on (no one really can be :/)
2. Why make one of them (the more important) risk getting a virus?

So im just guessing that under admin/site owner power there is an option to let the Admins and Minions download stuff with out it having to be approved.

So why not give that power to a group of people?

What the group CAN do.
Test hacks
Download them before they are approved
Post results

What they can NOT do
Delete posts
Lock posts
Hide posts
Ban people
Move threads
Change what threads say


Group name maybe?: Hiroshima hack testers (thats the only word that came to mind HAHAHAA)

Tell me what you think. If a minion/mod needs to lock this, please at least tell me WHY.

i got complete restore, and weekly mirror images. if i was minion, i would be able to test every hack.

and this will not work because there will be thousands of choobs wanting to test it. and the people in the test group might give it to their friends, and stuff.
it wouldnt be a big privelege to risk losing, but if you gave a hack to one of ur friends to test while ur a minion/mod, thats not allowed...

I dont know really how to stop that? unless it is packed with a password that only the person in the group knows. Even then it wouldnt help for that reason i guess lol

yeah, cause if u gave n unapproved hack to your friends as a minion or mod, and a higher member found out, you could get demoted or whatever. but who cares about losing wimpy little hack tester privileges?

Minions were already a bad idea due to their lack of ability to defend themselves from massive flaming. Minions arn't really MPGH staff either
