TL;DR Legend of Korra book 3 is wrapped up in book form and is somewhat done in cartoon form and will be released sometime this year, book 4 has started production.

Yeah that was actually pretty good.

putting the series in a drastically different setting than the first or korra, but pretty good.

However the entire plot involving korra and everyone else wasn't that entertaining at all.

Legend of Korra season 1 was a let down. The 2 episodes about avatar wan were the best of all. The 2 episodes on the first avatar were the best out of all the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra series.

Eh........if it was a stand-alone series it would have been better.

ATLA had better episodes, especially as far as concept went, but the spirits in Korra kind of "contradict" the spirits in ATLA. Not to mention Wan's arc got heavily interupted by some bullshit explanation of "absolute evil vs absolute good"-spirits.


I think it got(like the rest of season 2) held back by some really shitty writing. I mean the absolute good/evil spirit shit and "corrupting spirits" is some pretty low-grade stuff.

Yeah, that was true. I'm not sure why, I just felt really connected to his stories lol. Call me crazy but it was cool learning about the first avatar and when the spirit wilds existed, etc.

Yeah I really enoyed the intro. Especially the oldschool look of bending.

Yeah that was most of it. The oldschool animations of bending and the story behind the lion turtles and how wan learned all of the elements, stuff like that. I never realized LOK was an anime lol, it's kindof like Pokemon where I consider it a cartoon.

what another avatar........ geez whats this gonna be about now. 1st avatar was good. 2nd avatar was ok since avatar vs blood bender. 3rd avatar vs all powerful spirits. what else is left lol. I mean the avatar has already defeated the most powerful enemies already who else has a chance?
