You are going to an interview and you do not even know what they do there, and can not take the 5 minutes to have a look at their web page?
Or is this one of those BS threads?
Hey guys I'm going to a job interview this week at this company called CA Technologies
This will be my "first real job" and I need your help.
I need to do some research on this job, as much information as possible. I need information such as what they do there, what's their goal, and so forth. If anyone could help me out that'd be great.
Their website is:
https://www.c*****m/
Also if anyone could go the extra mile to help me out choose some questions to ask them that'd be great too. Thanks guys, I'll probably do a giveaway if I'm accepted
hi

If you're planning to work for a company, it's best to know what they do before you even plan to accept a job. That's kind of like taking a job at your local McDonald's and not knowing what type of business McDonald's is.
It's best to know what position you're applying for. This way, you can answer and ask questions around this department.
A few questions that you can ask the interviewer are:
- "How can someone of my qualifications and experience maximize their positive impact on the company while working in this position?" - This shows that if you are to succeed in getting the job, you are keen to understand how to perform in this department best.
- "What obstacles are commonly encountered in reaching these objectives?" - When the interviewer answers this question, make sure that you quickly think of ways that you can deal with these issues and, potentially, examples of times when you have overcome these obstacles in the past. This will show that you can overcome problems.
When it comes to the research part, it's best if you do that so that you can research around the department that you wish to go into.
Good luck.

I, myself, did not apply for this. In New York there is a program that helps you get into jobs. I had just received this job interview on such short notice.
I know what this job firm is. A technological company... that's all that I know so far from the website
Thanks for the question dude.
I kind of know what this company is but I'm not that smart as you can tell. It is a technology firm(?) I believe. But I don't really know what services they offer

First of all, I've actually researched the company beforehand.
Second of all, who's "we", the above people have either helped me in someway shape or form, I've gotten a response that has helped me with asking questions during the interview. I think you mean "I don't care"
Lastly, if you don't care then don't post on here just to get your post count up. Go bug someone somewhere else.
hi
If you're an intern, I don't think it's expected of you to have a lot of questions since you won't be there long-term. If this were for a permanent position, then questions regarding 401K plans, if they have a gym on the premises, what does their hierarchy structure look like etc., show your long-term interest and willingness to invest in their company. For an intern, just asking questions about what your daily duties would look like is totally fine.
As of 9/17, I will be away for a few days due to medical reasons. Should be back up soon. Please refer to a GM or other mods in whatever particular section you need help with.
