Not really a fan of visual novels, haven't completed any.
I've gotten back into the VN scene and just started up Kamidori Alchemy Meister.
Im liking the whole RPG aspect it has while keeping the original VN feeling.
i have finished:
Shinigami no Kiss wa Wakare no Aji
Katawa shoujo (all but toast)
If my heart had wings (all routes)
Ayase's route in oreimo for the psp
Majikoi (Chris and Kazuko route)
Things I'm in the middle of:
Steins;Gate
Toradora on the psp
Swan song
That's pretty much my list.
Any of you guys playing anything?

Oh, here's my list of visual novels. It's kinda small but I recently got into visual novels. I'm playing Kamidori atm also, I'm on chapter 5 with Emelita's route. It's pretty good. However you don't know good until you play the Rance series.
I've always wanted to play, but I have no clue where to download them.
Well there's lots of websites to download visual novels but the most popular one is FuwaNovel. Whenever you want to download something just type the visual novel name in Google and add FuwaNovel, it'll give a link to download the game if it's English translated. Some visual novels (Kamidori Alchemy Meister for example) don't work unless you have Japanese locale on. You can figure out how to do that here.
You'll of course need to use a BitTorrent client but I'll just assume you already know what is. Another VERY important website is VNDB, it's the equivalent to like... I dunno... MyAnimeList or Hummingbird. It let's you make a list, find visual novels and what not... it's useful. Besides that, there's also SpoilerAL. It's a game hacking tool for those RPG visual novels. It's useful but kinda confusing at first because it's in Japanese but here's a guide.
... oh and don't forget to read the notes at the bottom of FuwaNovel. It'll tell you if you need to install certain fonts and technical support, it's useful. So yeah... that's all I've got about visual novels from my own experience. I recommend you play the Rance series because it's so fucking good. I recommend you play Sengoku Rance first, it's the seventh in the series but it's the best one in the series (that's translated). You won't be confused if you play it either.
Download it here.
