So much wrong with this.
Alienware, microsoft security essentials...
Anyways, did you try re-installing ad-blockr browser?
So this is the general section, but before all of you monkeys start flaming and whatnot, I need help.
So I have a Windows 7 Alienware and i had Adblocker on it. When I installed Microsoft Security essentials it's like adblock doesn't work anymore and ads are EVERYWHERE. Not sure if I should turn off real-time protection or if there's a way to allow Adblock to work. Thanks.

Hey if I were you, get rid of Microsoft Security Essentials. Sure it may seem great, but from a few test that I've seen it doesn't recognize some viruses and such. Get AVG(the free version unless u a baller nigga) and also get MalwareBytes these two programs can help out a lot. While you're at it get CCleaner.
hi
Get avast! and stop using microsoft security essentials.
there's nothing left for you here.
Bitdefender is the way to go!
You deserve everything horrible coming to you just because you use Alienware.

I use norton as well. Norton rules!
Btw, OP, AVG, Avast!, and MalwareBytes are not recommended. I've personally used all of them and they haven't done anything but cause problems or didn't do the job. Norton is the way to go, tbh.
And about your problem, I have a feeling it has to do with your firewall settings, although I am not to sure since it's a browser app. I don't know if the Firewall would affect it, but I would have to say its worth looking in to. Good Luck!
Code:
If anything, MalwareBytes and ESET NOD32 are a great combination.
Try installing both of them, reinstall Adblock and if that doesn't work get a new adblocker. (Regular Adblock, Adblock PRO, etc)
Microsoft Security Essentials has been receiving bad scores lately from security companies compared to other anti-virus. It's not very trustworthy anymore.
