    C++ Books lack of Functions?

    I have just read the whole 'Jumping into C++' pdf by 'Alex Allain'... and it explains the syntax, alot of C++ (possibly everything!!!!!!!!) and preety easy to understand ... but... It doesn't teach you the functions :3...

    per example ReadProcessMemory, WriteProcessMemory, memcpy, etc etc.... NOTHING! ...

    Is it just this book that doesn't teach us the functions or all don't..

    If not.. how can I learn the functions? Please help :\

    Those first 2 functions are specific to Windows(R), not C++.

    My posts have some inaccuracies/are wrong/wrong keyword(s) used.
    They're (maybe) pretty close, and I hope they helped you, not created confusion. Take with grain of salt.
