An abnormal game client has been detected. Please re-install the game client..

Erm, I reinstalled the "game client" a lot of times. Now i'm getting this error. Im guessing its the version.ini . I deleted everything but the version.ini , so I'm guessing the version.ini is the problem. Heres what the version.ini says.

I'm facing the Same problem. Tried reinstalling the game about 6 times and even upgraded windows 8 to windows 8.1. I'm not running any hacks but i still get that error. figured whatever hacks i used would be gone when re-installing Crossfire but i'm still getting this. Anyone else having the same issue or has anyone got any solution ?

Did that but i'm still getting that. Reinstalled everything including the requirements like Direct X/Redistributables and even the AMD Graphics Drivers but i'm still getting this. It's like my PC is haunted xD

Did you completely delete the Z8Games folder?

yes i even tried installing the Z8 Games to a different drive.

Reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows and now it's gone and also found the culprit, i tried a hack from another site and it seems they install some kind of a Virus that infects the Crossfire file. So everytime i start crossfire it gets detected after a few minutes into the game. even if i reinstall CF.
