No, I'm sure that if you go beyond 4TB a HDD starts to become unstable, I've heard it from multiple sources. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

Yeah, I've heard that before, but it wasn't limited to 4 TB. I heard about it regarding 2 TBs, then after two years they ironed out all the issues. I heard it about 4 TBs, I puchased mine 1-2 years after it was released, and the reviews were nothing but stellar and I assume they ironed out all the issues in the first year.
