I was playing Fifa 14 casually on my laptop, when the screen suddenly went black and my laptop closed, I tried to open it again, and it gave me a black screen and closed again, I did a system restore and now it's working, but what the hell happened? It was 90% charged, so not a battery problem

No, I didn't download any suspicious files and I don't have a dark comet server, but I think it is overheating as I felt it was getting hot in there, what I hat the laptop on my lap, so is that the reason why? if so, then what surface should I put my laptop on? a wooden desk maybe?

If you have a DVD case then prop it the side with the fan up with it and make sure you don't use the laptop on a soft mushy surface such as a couch or a blanket.
