Halo 3 ODST Review Part 1 of 2 or more...

well at least for the parts i have played... i'll update once i upgrade to Gold Membership again to play multi player.

Story So Far:
In the beginning you'll get a little info about whats going on. Then few moments later you'll meet, what i believe, are the main characters. After they do some talking you'll get ready to drop into battle. And this is where you start playing. I'm not gonna say anymore but i will say that you will learn about what is happening very soon in the game.


Review:
They story is great and accurate to what I thought was gonna happen. You'll be able to play more then one character. Its kinda like Halo 3 but a little more difficult due to the lack of energy shields. Has a lot of action and BIG maps. You can get lost, but you can find different things while you are trying to find your way back on course. Instead of having an A.I. like Cortana, you will be helped by the "City" itself. And in this game you can choose different paths, instead of one line.

Pros:
FUN!
Easy achievements
Comes with a Halo 3 style multi player Disc that has all 24. You don't need Halo 3 to play this.
Multiple Characters

Cons:
Harder to survive.
Only 2 new weapons (silenced SMG and SOCOM pistol)

OVERALL: 10/10

Halo odst is more like an Add-on than a full cd game

and for 60 dollars, is not worth it

ODST is great, but I had it since the 21st, because when you have people working at Microsoft, apparently you get things early, such as H3. But, as mentioned, ODST isn't worth $60 its worth like $40.

Im gonna get MW2 also, but i'm just saying that this game is good for the time being.

And i got this game for $55 plus taxes and game guard

they also gave me that pre ordered Sgt. Johnson

Halo ODST is shit.

I don't think you guys understand. The multiplayer is EXACTLY the same as Halo 3*(the main point in playing any of the halo games). The new weapons? wow a silenced smg(basically a paintball gun, that shit is weak), and a pistol thats not the halo1 pistol. I honestly can't see myself playing this game. If you buy this you basically just bought a story mode and firefight.

Halo:Combat evolved.
Good game, very fun/original. Split-screen was awesome, i had hours of fun playin this. Everyone i introduced this to at the time loved it.
Halo 2
Thanks to xbox live, this game took up most of the time i spent playing video games. It was focused on multiplayer(which was great) but the story was interesting too. Introduced a ton of new vehicles, guns, and game modes
Halo 3
The campaign was fun and interesting, i played it lots(to help friends). The mulitplayer was a downgrade from halo 2, it took most of the things i liked about the halo2 multi and gave me graphic based gameplay instead of fun gameplay. Introduced a couple of new guns, useless vehicles, and basically made making the game modes in halo 2 faster to create.
Halo 3:ODST
Without any new multiplayer the game is basically halo3 with a different story and firefight. No significant things were added to the guns list, no new vehicles, really nothing important in the story even. A 60$ price tag for a game with about 4-5 hours max of gameplay.
