Traumatizing experience shaving my legs

So on March 2nd, the day right before I took the SAT, I decided to shave my legs just cause.

My leg hair is thick and coarse because I have Pili Multigemini (disorder where a good portion of your follicles have multiple hairs, 2,3 or even 4,5)
After the first strokes of the razor didn't go too well, I decide to buzz down my leg hair to make it easier.

It sort of works.

So I am shaving my legs. My right leg took over an hour to do. I get frustrated that it is taking so long, and end up cutting the part on the back part of the leg where the knee is. It stings like ass and crimson blood profusely pours out, literally sliding down all of my leg. It looks like a murder took place in my bathroom. So after 20 minutes, it stops bleeding and I gauzed it all up.

I still have to do my other leg, so I do. After another hour, I have 1.5 shaved legs because I had to quit the first one after I get cut. The next day, after doing well on the SAT, I go back to finish the job.

The next day I wake up and the razor burn is real. My thighs were swollen, had hives and I had to walk with my legs spread out and I couldn't wear pants. Put lotion on every hour. It healed after about 5 days, but I still have some sores to this day.

It's been under 3 weeks and my leg hair is already a centimeter long

Similar experience happened to my friend, minus the pain. He was just retarded and didn't notice he was pushing down too hard so he took off some skin with his razor. He looked like he was in pain at school when he walked but after like 2 days it healed and now he has a big ass scar running up the front of his leg.

My scar is beginning to clear up. Still very noticeable. It's like a hot pink line

I swim competitively and once a year I shave most of my body hair. It is probably my least favorite thing about swimming, more so than waking up at 5 every morning. Water going by a leg that was recently shaved is the weirdest feeling ever.

I see you are from Texas. What team are you on if I may ask. I used to be on COPS (City of Plano Swimmers) here in North Texas. I quit quite some time ago, but I remember waking up at 4:45 for practice on mondays. I'm doing High School swimming next year.

I used to be on Dallas Mustangs but when I went to high school I quit the team because I didn't have any time and I joined my HS team. In my opinion, the HS team is much harder than the club team. Less people and more attention from the coaches. PM me what team you plan on being on and I can tell you if I'll be racing you at all next year. I mostly do the 200 and 500 by the way. Very rarely the 100.
