This is partly the case (though the reason we'll be praising God is due to the fact that we want to, not because we're compelled), but there is an after to that. The reason religions are so appealing to people is in part because they offer something beyond this current existence. In the new Earth, there will be no sorrow because there will be no sin, and therefore we won't have any desire for something beyond what we have; why would we want to be saved from an existence of perfect happiness?

And that realm will give meaning to our life in heaven!
