Can't we all agree that money is a modern survival "tool", meaning you can't survive without it? I was chilling at my house yesterday and heard sirens right outside my back fence, I go through the back gate and see a girl I knew from middle school being put on a stretcher. She was hit by a car because she wanted to go back and get her phone that she dropped, while that wasn't a smart choice it's not the point I'm getting to. She was taken to a local hospital while in a coma and being kept alive by life support. At 2:27 AM today, she was taken off life support because her parents insurance wouldn't cover it. I don't really know what to say other than it's disgusting that a humans life was depending on money. Anyone have similar thoughts?

Although I guess something like that wouldn't happen in Norway because we got free healthcare

In Saudi Arabia, all hospitals are free for citizens only. It's not about the money, it's about the government policy.

It's social Darwinism unfortunately. People who can't support themselves fall and the rich only get richer. It's a sad society to live in but we're all stuck in it unless the masses decide to overthrow this system in place for decency.
