I'm 16 years, I don't have to finish any projects, I only need to learn from them. If I were to continue on jevaengine I would have learned nothing, everything was already written, all I had to do was expand on it. When I need to start presenting products to the interviewer I can go back and finish writing them. They're all far enough to be presentable. Even this kernel and bootsectorn can present to the interviewer that I have a good understanding of the underlying hardware and how it works. It can present a whole bunch about me. It doesn't need to be finished.

Consider this:
Application for IT school of some sort:
Some IT 12 crap
Passion

That is pretty much what they're all going to look like. Mine will show I have a passion for computers, so much that I jump around to tons of different areas with different skills involved in them. A bland application with one finished product in one language is going to look far worse then a whole bunch of unfinished but far in development projects with a wide-range of skills involved.

I never stopped jevaengine :O It's still under active development, hence why I'm working under linux. Netbeans + all the dev tools I need.
