BG Extreme/Easy glitch

I have been on a long, long break from this game and i'm just curious about how to glitch the rooms to easy on BG extreme/Death valley. Does anybody know the most current, working version of how to do this glitch? I've seen people do it on the newest update and the room selection way doesn't work for me. Thanks

make room bg extreme
then press f5 and change map chance to easy
press ok then f6 to cancel countdown
then u do change map and just press ok dont change anything
