Problem With "New" Forum Layout

Starting off on the assumption that this wasn't the result of a mod screwing around, and that i am not just bitching about my ban, let's start.

I was banned due to a post in an old topic, which due to a little symbol and its position at the top of the list of threads, i thought was a "live topic" and a noob had just posted in it. I posted a chiding quick post, but soon discovered it was not a "live topic" and actually a quite old one, so not fun.

If something like this happened to you, say something.

I fully expect this to be disregarded, but i felt obliged to post it anyway, at least for the benefit of others banned by something similar.
