PC issue urgent please help

Well I tried changing my heatsink after I did so my rig stopped powering on but my mobo will light up. I then know to pc guy he put new psu and it worked but then the ppc smelt like it's burning so we powered it off he fixed the heathsink and put it correctly. We then powered on and after few min about 10 the pc fans will start working fast and the pc will restart. He told me it's the ssd so I brought it home disconnected the ssd and then installed Windows on the hdd. But same thing happens no error code. But at the store I was playing around when he put in his hard drive. He told me to take it back today after school. The pc is only 1 week old. And everything done correctly.

Same thing happened to my build. Turned out the power supply fucked up and ended up killing my mobo and cpu.

Have you tried changing your settings to Wumbo? An online source told me that anything could be fixed if you just change it to Wumbo.

I asked a forum and they told me it's the mobo having a short.

Sounds like a CPU or PSU problem to me, buy a cheap ass PSU and keep it on hand if you ever need to test if your PSU is having a meltdown or something.

Yes but then when I install windows it doesn't crash. But when I get on pc and the fan speeds goes fast and restarts.

If it is still a problem, try booting of an Ubuntu USB. If it is a problem with your HDD/SDD, this'll tell you.
