    Forum organization

    As you know I am trying to organize the forum to better handle new members with a lack of experience in C/C++ as well as experienced members as well. It is my hope that we can create a sort of "share the knowledge community where novices can accelerate their growth by piggy-backing on the more experienced, at the same time I do not want to limit the experienced coders by keeping the organization too basic. By taking opinions from all users I can make the best choice so I need to know what you guys want and how you think this place should be organized.

    This is what I'm thinking right now:

    1. An introductory guide to new users
    -Explanation of C/C++/C#
    -List of Compilers and Tools
    -List of guides/ Books/ tutorials on C++

    2. An intermediate Guide
    -What to learn next
    Basics of:
    -Windows API
    -D3D
    -OpenGL
    Introduction to Reversing

    3. More advanced tutorials
    -inline ASM

    -More advanced functions (such as detour)
    ... Well it's hard for me to think beyond this point.
    NOTE: One thing I am trying to consider is Sticky space. As you know there are some pretty important tutorials up there already, so here is what I was thinking. I was thinking about that if space ever became a problem we could combine links to several important threads in one thread, but I won't worry about that till later...

    I am trying to compile all the information I can as fast as possible. Hopefully by the end of this week I will have a clear idea of what needs to stay and what needs to go. Over Fall Break I should have a rough draft figured out.

    I know a lot of sites I have visited organize entire sections based on skill level, so I think this is going to be an interesting experiment to have all these different skill levels mingling together. Hopefully the outcome will be positive... only time will tell.

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. This is, I repeat, the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking. This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."

    Well if you have any ideas please share them here. Think of this as a town meeting... xD

    Based on what lol said and past experience I think I'm going to add a FAQ Sticky, and hopefully that will cut down on the number of "C++ vs. whatever" threads.

    Will do lalakiljip,

    Ummmm... In recent new I added a FAQ I'm pretty sure most people noticed it, but I guess I can check that off my list.

    Thanks whitten & obama, I'll ask you if I need anything.

    This is what i will provide them until experienced with any tutorial needed.

    Theres the intro to C++
    then comes to low level hacking which is just finding address through CE and edit them.
    then comes to basic level which is understanding the code and be able to program something. Not hack but actually a simple program, in basic level they have to know full C++, at least know/understand what the code is about at the end of basic level they will know how to put the codes together and use memory address to make the trainer.
    in experienced section they will know how to program a working hack with C++ or make a simple trainer with C++ how to code DLL ... and so on
    Professional ... idk

    News: I've edited the How to learn C++ Sticky...

    The only things left to do now are to make something for the Intermediate and Advanced sections. No small tasks since those are the more difficult. Hopefully this will work out... then I can take a break and actually get back to my own studying lol xD.
