Reason to why the Ability Hack Isn't Working!

Ok so this isn't 100% right, but i'm pretty sure this might be the problem to why the ability or any other hack doesn't work.
Ok so I think that the reason to why the ability hack doesn't work is because EA probably put a Size lock on it. Meaning if the ratio, packed size, or the size changes, then it will display the "Invalid Client Data (6)" error.
Here is what happens:

1. So i'm going to try to make the ability hack. And before I start here is a picture showing the ratio, packed size, and the current size of the DefaultCustomization.xml file.

2. Then I, wanted to leave the size the same, so instead of adding to the "equipment" line, I just replaced this:

with this:

3. Then I saved it, and took a look at the size, it was the same... But then look at the ratio and packed size:

4. Then I tried changing ;1234 back to ;2001, and look still the same size as to when I replaced it with ;1234. Except the Packed Size Changes.

5. Now even with the ;2001, try going in game. It will most likely start. Now try getting on a server. You'll get a "Invalid Client Data (6)" error.

Now, the size is the same. What the hell is wrong then.
The ratio changes and the Packed size of the file also changes.
So all we need to do is find a way for it to stay exactly the same.

Now i'm not saying this Reasoning to why the ability hack doesn't work is 100% true.
But it's a really good one.

i guess they have a editor and if the file is open with anything else then theres editor =error

There is hella of them. But i've been searching and looking through the files and saw that some of them said, that the code was like made from a BF2 Editor. I think. I don't quite remember but i'm pretty sure that if you go to google and type in BF editor, you might be able to find something.

Interesting! Have you noticed that modification date also changes it could be that. I've been trying to figure out this. How they allow it when you buy vp/xp boost or get new hp? It must someway update it into client and check it from idk where.

Try to take those xmls from higher lvl hero(same class) and extract it to lower lvl hero. Then dates, ratios and sizes should be correct if extracting doesn't change the size. Probably wont work but try!

i wouldn't think that EA are so stupid to just let there editor on the net ^^

a other way could be if you open the file and changed something it writes it to a reg. file =error maybe ?

i found their editor already

But you need battlefield 2 installed
its a battlefield 2 editor but works for all battlefield games
i just have to try it out right now

trying to find a way to edit battlefield heroes files with the bf editor but so far no success.
i'll tell you if i get something

This is the only BF Editor.
Thats the one listed in all of the BF Heroes files.
Just look in the begging it says BF2 Editor.
But anyways here:
