I feel as if I should clarify on why people (well, I at least) enjoy noise.

For what it's worth, I think drone, noise, field recordings, lowercase, etc. all pertain to a certain form of minimalism. When listening to a rock song, there will be guitar, bass, vocals and drums nearly every time. Verses and choruses, chord progressions, more than likely set to 4/4. Basically, a set of formulas and conventions we encounter all the time. And the same goes for a lot of other genres -- folk, house, techno, black metal, you name it. Shit even free jazz. These are tried-and-true formulas, they can give absolutely fantastic results, I don't dislike them -- but I don't want to stick by them all the time.

With noise (in its broadest sense), field recordings, etc., you do away with all that. The sounds are free, there are no necessary rules to follow, the field is wide open. That's very refreshing to me. (I listen to "non-harsh" noise a lot more often than harsh noise, because harsh noise is a bit too extreme, but that doesn't mean I don't listen to it). It's the same reason why math rock and experimental groups are popular - they're outside of the norm.

Even an apparently very constraining genre like drone feels less artificial to me than all the conventions you can find in popular genres, because the one rule you have to follow is very simple and intuitive: what you get to hear and appreciate is the sound itself, its character, the subtle ways in which it might evolve. I like that a lot.

When I listen to music, I don't necessarily NEED vocals. I don't need rhythms, melodies, harmony, progressions or anything. These are all optional to me. What I really want is interesting sounds.

Other then that he just made a bunch of random noises that sound like crap and tried to call it music. No one in the world can classify this as music in any way.
