I'd rather get a r9 270x then do crossfire. It seems pretty decent to me, unless you are willing to spend a couple more bucks on Gtx 970.
Here's a tutorial for you

So i currently have a gigabyte r9 270x windforce and I'm considering either to crossfire it with another r9 270x , or to just purchase an entirely new graphics card and crossfire or sli it in the future.
So currently it's either
Get another r9 270x to crossfire
Or upgrade to a Gtx 980 and possibly Sli that in the future
If i do crossfire can someone send me a guide on how to do so.
Edit: changed 970 to 980

It's always better to get a single powerful GPU, then SLI 2 high, power consumption cards.
R9 270x is the best one and take a crossfire with R7 Dual x and you will take a good cheap beast game machine
