A grieving father and activist hacker group Anonymous are lashing out at Cleveland cops after young Tamir Rice, who was carrying a BB gun, was fatally shot by officers.

Tamir died in a local hospital Sunday, one day after the tragic incident at the Cudell Recreation Center. The two officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

The officer who fired the shots is a rookie cop, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.

"Why not 'tase' him?" Tamir's father Gregory Henderson told the Plain Dealer. "You shot him twice, not once, and at the end of the day you all don't shoot for the legs, you shoot for the upper body."

Anonymous also expressed outrage at the shooting, and claimed responsibility for shutting down the city's website early Monday.

I agree with Flex. After all, they couldn't tell whether the gun was a real or no. Remember that dad who died cus his son shot him? A guy replaced the dad's gift (bb gun) with a real one. So the kid was pointing it at his dad, who thought/knew it was a bb gun. When he shot it, the dad was proven wrong. However, shooting wasn't the best way. Could've tazed him, jumped him, told the dad to take it from him etc.. shooting should've been their last option.
