Help getting CF running on VMware Fusion

Guys its been a while since I played crossfire. I had a random desire to get back into it. The thing is that I have a mac. I tried bootcamp and no luck. So now I am trying VMware only to find out that the client can't run on a VM. This saddens me. So much time wasted . Now, my question is, is there any way for me to be able to run CF through VMware. If not, any other way besides Bootcamp?

I think they patched the vmware. What's wrong with getting it on Mac? Any errors? Mine is working perfectly fine on bootcamp.

I'm not sure why it wasn't working. It kept crashing at the "formatting" part. I actually decided to re-run bootcamp, like as am typing. The error is gone and so far is working.
