actually the 290(X) has better FPS:Price ratio than any GTX out there, without going in the $400 price zone (like the 970). (since cause it dropped to $300)

No way would I pay that much for it. I paid $600 for mine (you can see my specs on my profile) but I didn't have to buy a case/PSU and I live in USA.
