Succeeding to me is doing something few do, and getting far with it, and most importantly learning from it. I've learned a lot from JetaOs and I've gotten pretty far with it. I don't think, at least in my terms, it is considered a fail.

In an average person, yes, it looks like a fail, but that's because you have no idea what really goes into it. The only people that admire the project really are other software engineers or computer programmers, or those interested in the subject and want to learn about it. Which is who the project is meant for. I don't want undetermined jerks thinking everything is going to fail.

IMO, we should do a chat client. You can't seriously believe the OS will be useful, and there are too many little kids here who will vote for the chat game. It will eventually be just a chat room, so maybe we should start off on that premise.

JetaOs isn't supposed to be useful for the users, just the developers. Meaning, the developers can take credit for the programming of an operating system.

But I agree, a small project would be best as a start to see the capability of the members on this forum. But I've already written a lot of the chat game, and a lot of the operating system, and we can work off of that.

I have heard there is a live IRC chat add-on for vBulletin.
We MPGHians should use that.
