If you send the EditAccountList packet enough times (8 seems to do the job) you can dupe.

More detailed version:
1. Head into vault
2. Take out the item you want to dupe
3. Send EditAccountList 8 times, id=0 (locking) alternating between add=true and add=false (locking and unlocking) on objectId=local player's objId
4. Disconnect or dispatch a Reconnect
5. If successful, your items should be duped now

The server to which you have the lowest ping tends to be the highest success rate.

Not sure what to change it to, I'm either unable to connect or it says connection forcibly ended by remote host

that dupe was patched a couple hours ago, I made out like a bandit tho
friends got banned while I'm sitting here with 80 sets of candy and 100 omnis

Not from what I've seen, public dupes are great ways to get your account banned though.

yea i duped hundreds of chests, vaults and chars and also nearly maxed my pet, just to be banned lel

i mean im yet to experience a rotmg ip ban, i got perma banned in 2018 for duping and then just now again, yet still i can play on accounts i made on this ip, register etc.

plus if you were unsure it was a rat, using any decompiler like dotpeek or de4dot would allow you to inspect the code of the bert proxy seeing as its written in c#

Basically the public dupe was working up until 9 hours ago, just the proxy server from the public video was outdated. If you manually updated the proxy server the dupe was still working fine all of last night. Right now, if you try to use a manually updated proxy server, the game stops you from sending the Lock packets and logs it for Deca to ban you later. Just don't try it anymore, it's patched and detected.

no, its literally a keylogger pog, you or someone took the video someone else poosted and probably bugged the links.

Atleast the actual public dupe worked, anything besides Chest and Vault Coupons didn't result into a ban. Duped a good amount of stuff without being shut down.
