    How to edit unknown format type game files - .inix & .USAx?

    Hi guys, I have a question. I develop my own launcher for A.V.A and I want to translate the game into my language, but I have a problem.
    In what way can I edit these game files?

    ...\AeriaGames\AVA\avaGame\Config\DefaultOptionSet tings.inix
    or for exemple
    ...\AeriaGames\AVA\avaGame\Localization\USA\avaGam e.USAx

    In other UE3 games files have the format .ini & .USA, and these files are edited in notepad, but in this game all files have the format .inix & .USAx and this files are encoding. Pls help!

    hook createfile & readfile
    trace whats beeing done with the readhandle to the encrypted file.
    reverse the encryption

    easiest way is to reverse & find out how they connect the game launcher to ava and just do it in your own launcher

    has nothing to do with his question, as the language gets passed as a parameter but the game itself has only a few ones hardocoded
