Is it really worth watching ?

Okay so i am currently on season 1 episode 3 of Tokyo Ghoul and im not too sure if it's going to get any better. The start is very slow and i want your guys opinions
If it's not then is there any other good animes/mangas that are not fucking 300 episodes 20 series long.
Short ones are prefered but thats only instead of tokyo ghoul

The first season was really good. It gets better later on in the series.

Well for the anime, it's ok.

Nothing great on the action or story, relatively decent opening, boring mid, and interesting ending.

I suggest reading the manga and just putting down the anime. Because season 2 is awful.
