Unfortunately in Australia, even being a Police officer, you can get charges put upon you if you murder someone out of rage or just because you thought they were a terrorist

The only bright side is that if you act in self defense when someone is trying to kill/harm you, you can hit them or knock them out, as long as they have the intention of trying to kill/harm you, and you won't get any charges held against you at all
