ISIS burns alive Jordanian pilot it kept hostage

The Islamic State has released a video, purportedly showing Moath al-Kasasbeh, the Jordanian pilot captured in December, being burned alive. The Jordanian government had pleaded with IS to release the hostage in exchange for a captured terrorist. A member of al-Kasasbeh's family has been informed by the head of the Jordanian armed forces that he has been killed, Reuters reported. According to national television, Jordan now believes he was executed as far back as January 3, exactly one month ago, though the government has refused to directly confirm the news to Western news agencies Al-Kasasbeh was captured after his plane crashed over an IS-controlled part of Syria, following a bombing mission on December 24. The US-led air strikes in the region since September have helped stem IS expansion through Syria and Iraq.
In the past few weeks, Al-Kasasbeh and two Japanese captives have been part of failed negotiations between the Islamic State and Japanese and Jordanian governments. The Islamic State had first demanded $200 million then the release of Sajida al-Rishawi, a female Iraqi Al-Qaeda militant, who is imprisoned in Iran, in exchange for the release of journalist Kenji Goto, and security expert Haruna Yukawa.

The woman, failed suicide bomber Sajida al-Rishawi, and al-Qaeda operative Ziyad Karboli - both Iraqi nationals - were hanged at dawn, officials said.
The executions came hours after IS posted a video appearing to show pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh being burned alive.Jordan had attempted to secure Lt Kasasbeh's release in a swap involving Rishawi. She had been on death row for her role in attacks in Jordan's capital, Amman, which killed 60 people in 2005.The two prisoners were executed at 04:00 local time (02:00 GMT), government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said on Wednesday morning.Mamdouh al-Ameri, a spokesman for the Jordanian armed forces, said on Tuesday that Lt Kasasbeh had "fallen as a martyr". "His blood will not be shed in vain. Our punishment and revenge will be as huge as the loss of the Jordanians."

Twelve dead as plane crashes into Taiwan river

At least 12 people have died after a TransAsia Airways plane clipped a bridge and crashed into a river near the Taiwanese capital, Taipei. Fifty-eight people were onboard the domestic flight. The plane is now half-submerged in the Keelung River. Rescuers have cut open the side of the fuselage and are trying to rescue several people still trapped inside. Taipei officials said 16 people suffered injuries. Thirty people are still unaccounted for. Cindy Sui reports: ''Many of the people on board are still inside the aircraft''. The ATR-72 turbo-prop plane had just taken off from Taipei Songshan Airport and was heading to the outlying Kinmen islands, just off the coast of the south-eastern Chinese city of Xiamen, CNA said. Flight controllers lost contact with the plane at 10:55 local time (02:55 GMT). Footage of the plane apparently filmed from inside passing cars showed it banking sharply, hitting a taxi and clipping the bridge before crashing into the river.

Mega-megapixel! Meet world's highest resolution DSLR



LOS ANGELES- Camera manufacturer Canon is taking a leap of faith that photographers want even bigger files, and way more resolution than they're used to getting.

The company in June will release updates to its beloved 5D Mark III camera that ups the resolution from 22 megapixel up to 50.5. Two new models, the 5DS and 5DSR will sell for $3,699 and $3,899.

The cameras are aimed at pro photographers who shoot advertising and other commercial work that ends up on billboards and the like.

This is a major move for Canon, as the 5D Mark III found its popularity with both pro wedding and event photographers, and more vocally, filmmakers who started using the camera to replace camcorders. The image sensor on the 5D Mark III is 20 times the size of that of a camcorder, and provides a sleek, cinema look for video.

The current file size on an uncompressed photo in the 5D Mark III is 15 megabytes, so the new files will easily be 30 megabytes each. Photographers buying the new 5D camera will want to spring for extra hard drive storage along with the camera.

Given the broad interest in high tech watches nowadays—and the much-anticipated arrival of the Apple Watch smart watch in April--it shouldn't surprise anyone that a company would gear a safety-oriented watch towards the aging population.

That company is Lively out of San Francisco, which already produces a home monitoring kit with a wireless hub and sensors that you can stick on refrigerator doors, pillboxes and other items around the home, all to help monitor a senior's activity.

Now the kit comes with a watch.

Kojima Wants Open-World Metal Gear Solid 1 Remake for PS4


Dont get excited just yet as Hideo Kojima stated that he doesn't have time to work on such a project right now.

During a media session at Taiwan's Taipei Game Show this weekend Kojima was asked what he thinks about bringing earlier Metal Gear games to the PS4. He responded, according to a DualShockers translation, by saying he's excited by the idea, but can't work on any projects as large as this simply by himself, as he's currently busy with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Silent Hills. Kojima went on saying that he would like to someday play in an open-world version of Shadow Moses, one of the locations from the original game. "Gamers, too, would like to see a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid for new consoles", Kojima said, though he stated its not officially in the works and may never see the light of there

Kojima went on to point out that by remaking the Metal Gear Solid 1 for current-generation machines would also require the implementation of new tools and an engine, as well as a team to make the game, But as expected "no developer has come forward yet"

[MPGH]Ameer: Back in 2010, my friends introduced me to Crossfire. I started playing in it and never tried to use any hacks before, someone enters the game and starts to kill everybody and spammed chat with (G-Force) & MPGH , I immediately searched mpgh on Google and found my self here downloading hacks.

[MPGH]Mayion: Seems a lot were introduced to MPGH because of the spammed ads. Besides that, What's your favorite thing to do and what do you enjoy the most excluding site moderation?

[MPGH]Ameer: Helping members and creating helpful threads , checking general section as well.

[MPGH]Mayion: Do you have the potential to last longer in your staff position this time?

[MPGH]Ameer: This time I'm pretty sure I will stay for a long time , last 2 times I had IRL issues (family and school)
