My guess is that they've got admin access to that website a few years ago, now that event popped up and they're giggling about it.

Pimped Pixels is just a forum where "designers" boast about their tags and serve each others egos despite their tags and "art" being objectively shit in everyway. Just about every single tag on there consists of cringeworthy techniques like Topaz, clipping masks, oversharpen and heavy contrast just to name a few. A lot of the high post member claim they have been "designing" for years upon years yet their skill remains at the novice level at best. And if you post any kind of tag that just shits all over theirs they'll make up some arbitrary critique just to make them feel better.

You could post BLANE tags and they would find a way to make it seem as though you're not on there level.

No offence to beginners there but a lot of people are better off going to better forums to learn such as TF and places like that. Even just browsing DeviantArt would help you a lot better than being at PP.
