Happens to me too with my iPhone. I'm logged into my email through the mail app and my phone vibrates every time I receive an email. Started to get weirded out too when my phone vibrated without any notifications but finally figured it out. Hopefully you're in the same situation.

It's called something, i forgot. But you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket, but it doesn't really vibrate. It's weird, look it up.
