I am new, first piece I guess?

I am not exactly sure how this stuff is approached, because I am new (as in started this morning) but I have made my first piece which is a sig for me, with obviously bae sora as the render.... Anyone tell me if its good or bad etc?

@Organized Chaos I know you're into this stuff, so tell me what you think :P (pls don't shrek me XD)



Another thing, I basically just played around with Photoshop CC until I finished this...

Also can someone tell me the basic size for a signature or piece? Is there a specific size or is it between 500x200 (this was 400x160)

Why is the smudging come in from an opposite direction then of thee render itself? jw
And the text is ehhh... I would leave out text till like you go hardcore pro, cause I still suck with text lmao
This piece lacks tons of depth.
I would just go onto DA = www.deviantar*****m *Make a an account as well, upload your pieces there so people and yourself can watch you progress*

Sincerely, the way my tags are going look way worse than this.
But when you make a theme, try getting some resources and combine them. Like C4Ds, fractals, textures and stocks.
You play with those to make a nice tag.

Google signature tutorials so you grab the idea
Also look on deviant art.

devaintart has a bunch of beginner tuts there and they're mostly all easy to follow
as for ur first couple of tags dont really worry about the text, just focus on creating composition and decent flow first, then work with color schemes and depth
oh most tags go up to 500x500, anywhere between their is fine, like 450x325/350x500(for vertical tags) yeah dont really worry about size not a real big issue unless its super big then its basically a large piece

You can find there good enough c4ds. Look for packs of them, and make experiments with them.
