Nice Bro
Are you a DJ or something? Mind my ignorance, idk anything about what you just bought.
Stanton T52.
Got it for $200 (even though it goes on Amazon $100 off for $150, turntables are known for breaking mid-ship; happened to me before) via local record store.
Bumpin' RTJ2.
Hoping to get a new cartridge soon, but that's another $150.
Anyone else here collect records? It's been a while since I asked this, so maybe I'll get some new answers.

Actually, the turntable was made for DJing, but I'm just a casual listener I guess.
My tastes are "too eclectic" for that kind of shit, as some people put it.

my mom used to collect records. she has about 4 boxes filled with them. she thinks that they will go up in value soon.
Extremely doubtful.
Most people that hold onto this kind of stuff have extremely popular artists that sell for $1 if you're lucky.
If you want, I can go over the albums with you to evaulate the pricing some time. Just hit me up whenever.
EDIT: I should clarify a bit more.
The ONLY way for people to listen to specific albums was via records. No CDs, no tapes, maybe 8 tracks if you're a fucking rich-ass nerd, but besides that nothing.
So sure, your (generic 60's rock band) album might seem really expensive, but it isn't when you realize it's been pressed over 200 times (which comes out to well over 1,000,000 records).
You know I collect vinyl bby.
Picked up Morbus Chron's new LP recently.
You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
Its name is Silence..
I was going to get those, but I got more into controllers.
wait,so if you want to scratch something you must create a record first
