The two pictures are different size, and taken while his head is titled at different angles.

That and the distance from the camera is different also.

It's a ratio you moron. They aren't comparing each other, they are comparing the ratio of lips to chin in each picture. /facepalm

DISTANCE AND SIZE HAS NO EFFECT BECAUSE EVERYTHING SHRINKS AT THE SAME RATIO. YOUR NOSE WONT SHRINK MORE THAN YOUR LIPS. YOUR CHIN WONT GROW IF YOU LOOK AT IT FROM THE SIDE.

Unless your neck is about the size of your head, like a giant fat roll, there would be shadows. Notice how his face has shadows right up to the edge of the chin, you can clearly tell where the chin ends. A tilted head would still have ~ the SAME RATIO, basic math. Do you even know what similar triangles are? The ratios comparing each picture would be the same, unless the angles are different and on the opposite center of focus, which is impossible.

I've done more than my fair share of 3d modeling of faces. I could write a facial recolonization system. I think you need to understand what a ratio is.
