    Question Can anticheats detect cheatengine when only reading data? [nib QQs]

    I'm totally new to hacking, trying to make simple bot to learn. I don't need to write anything to memory, I only need to scan/watch some stats. Can that get detected? Can I get banned just for just having CE attached to game process? ;o The game (Trove) doesn't seem to run any extra soft like hackshield/punkbuster. Does it even matter?

    EDIT: I've read TOS, and yeah, reading memory data is forbidden... So what about detection possibilities for CE and Custom App?

    depends on how the anti cheat work but in generally yes. Because they see that the process is running. That would be the simpliest form.

    I changed values without being Banned, or no one even said "OMG HACKER", so I'd say a low possibility. Unless they have updated.
